Andy has spent the entirety of his career consulting to general insurers & reinsurers globally. He started his career in the London Market, before going on to lead Actuarial practices in each of the Ireland and Bermuda (re)insurance markets.

Prior to establishing Sephira Risk Solutions, Andy was an Executive Director within the EMEIA Risk Consulting practice of a Big 4 firm, responsible for leading its Ireland Non-Life Actuarial practice.

Andy has extensive experience assisting insurers with tackling some of the sector's biggest challenges, harnessing his technical expertise spanning Reserving, Pricing, Capital, IFRS 17 & Solvency II. He has held the signing roles of Solvency II Head of Actuarial Function, Loss Reserve Specialist under the Bermuda EBS regime and Reviewing Actuary under the CBI's Domestic Actuarial Regime.
